• Members now include supporters based in Canada, the USA, Norway, England & Switzerland
• Accepted as part of the Brisbane City Council’s RAW program
• Sent Queensland Women’s Team to Australian Championships: Lyn Gill, Laurie Weeden & Sandy Gagnon. Won Australian Women’s Championship
• Queensland send 2 men’s teams to the National Championships
• Qld 1 Dave Thomas, Mark Wuschke, David Imlah & Ali Cameron placed 2nd
• Qld 2 Phil Goschnick, Bruce Wilmot, Kent Hughes & Tim McMahon placed 4th
• Mike Woloschuk and David Imlah played in the Australian Men’s Team that won the Pacific Curling Championships.
• Appeared in the Curling News (Canadian Curling magazine), the Courier Mail & on TV’s the Great South East.
• Queensland Curling Association formed
• Accepted to the Australian Curling Federation with the second highest membership base
• Played every 6 to 8 weeks, 10pm to midnight Fridays
• 3 Women, Lyn Gill, Cherie Curtis and Sandy Gagnon along with 2 men, Ricky Tasker & Mike Woloschuk were named in Australian National Curling Team’s at the Pacific Curling Championships.
